I occasionally talk at conferences. Mostly I swear and tell developers that they're doing things wrong. For some reason organisers keep asking me back.
Charlie Owen has been in the web industry for 20 years, and during that time has grown angrier and angrier about the direction the web industry is going. She has recently blown a fuse and so goes to conferences to tell people how we've broken the web, but also about how we can fix it and make it a better place for people.
Charlie lives in Berlin, possibly the weirdest city on the planet. There she rides bikes, drinks beer, and quite often says the wrong thing at the wrong time.
